Busy Bodies – 18 to 24 months

“Too often we give children answers to remember rather than problems to solve.”

– Roger Lewin

Donna Neal, Lead Teacher

My name is Donna Neal and I am the Lead Teacher in the Busy Bodies classroom. I have been a member of the Twin Lakes family since July of 2001. I am a wife and mother and I love working with this busy age group. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where these active toddlers will learn and grow. The Busy Bodies will gain independence & confidence as we work on their critical thinking, problem solving and verbal skills. We will play games and sing songs to encourage small and large motor growth. During circle time we will work on colors, numbers, shapes and more.

Children this age often have a hard time expressing their emotions. Because of this, it is not uncommon for children to hit, push, pinch or bite. Please know that we take this very seriously and will work with you and your child to help them express themselves in a more appropriate manner. In the Busy Bodies class we do a lot of “growing up” but we have FUN while we do it. It’s my hope that each family that comes through the Busy Bodies classroom will have good memories of their time here.”
